Abstract

L'intervention dont rend compte ce rapport a constitué la seconde phase d'une étude visant à évaluer l'incidence de la modernisation sur les emplois et la formation dans les Industries Agro-Alimentaires de la Région Provence - Alpes - Côte d'Azur. Cette intervention prévoyait d'approfondir certaines pistes dégagées lors de la phase antérieure, réalisée au cours de l'année 1991 sous forme de questionnaire passé auprès de 48 entreprises. A partir d'une réflexion portant sur certains éléments mis en évidence dans la première phase, nous avons donné à notre intervention les objectifs suivants: - saisir de façon relativement précise ce en quoi consiste la modernisation pour six entreprises agro-alimentaires de la région; - rendre compte de l'expérience singulière de chacune d'elle, en identifiant les logiques et les démarches qui la sous-tendent; - repérer les implications de la modernisation en ce qui concerne la technique, l'emploi et les qualifications; - au-delà des singularités propres à chaque entreprise, chercher à identifier les différentes figures de la modernisation repérables à travers l'analyse de ces quelques cas; - apporter des éléments d'information et de réflexion pour l'élaboration d'un guide de la modernisation des industries agroalimentaire de la région.
