Les ingénieurs de conception industrielle dans la révolution numérique

Abstract

La révolution numérique impacte nombre d'activités économiques. Il ne s'agit pas d'un choc externe venant affecter les organisations en place mais bien mieux du développement d'une véritable technologie, à savoir une réflexion et une pratique en interaction permanente destinées à optimiser le fonctionnement même des organisations. Dans l'industrie, les activités de conception tirent bénéfice de cette révolution, et les métiers de l'ingénierie-R&D centrés sur le travail de conception sont réorganisés autour d'une vision et d'une approche plus systémique et collaborative. Ceci conduit les ingénieurs de conception à questionner leur position au sein de systèmes de soutien à la création qui, comme les plateformes numériques de type PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), tendent vers un certain automatisme. C'est la conclusion de ce travail de recherche à dominante qualitative, réalisé par le Lest dans le cadre d'un partenariat avec l'Apec.
