Abstract

El informe técnico presenta de forma breve los antecedentes de la instalación del tema de la Evaluación Ambiental Estratégica (EAE) en los instrumentos de planificación territorial en Chile, específicamente para el Plan Regional de Ordenamiento Territorial (PROT). Posteriormente se dan a conocer cinco componentes: i) los objetivos del PROT para la Región Metropolitana de Santiago (RMS), ii) cuatro criterios de sustentabilidad, iii) siete objetivos ambientales, iv) los órganos de la administración del Estado que forman parte de la gobernanza regional y v) todos aquellos instrumentos y estudios claves que se incorporan al PROT.
