Abstract

Ce rapport présente les enjeux des transports urbains en Asie du Sud-est, les politiques urbaines, le financement et les planifications des transports urbains. Il décrit ensuite le rôle des consultants en transport urbain, la nature des services offerts et les transferts de savoir-faire. Les consultants apparaissent comme des acteurs majeurs de la structuration des transports urbains. Ce rapport essaie de comprendre, à travers le marché et les stratégies des bureaux d'études étrangers, les conditions et la portée de leurs interventions. Un chapitre traite de la diffusion de modèles de transport urbain par les consultants étrangers.
