Abstract

Face aux libertariens dits « de droite », dont les positions développées par des auteurs tels que Rothbard (1973), D. Friedman (1973) et Nozick (1974), sont bien connues, un libertarisme « de gauche » s'est récemment développé. Les tenants de cette dernière position partagent avec les premiers un grand nombre de choix théoriques et notamment la place centrale accordée à la pleine propriété de soi. L'analyse de cette propriété que les individus ont sur eux-mêmes permet de comprendre la diversité des conceptions libertariennes de la justice sociale et de montrer leurs implications économiques tant dans le cadre de la justice globale que dans le traitement de l'une des problématiques emblématiques de la justice locale : les transplantations d'organes.
