Abstract

La microregión de Tomina es una parte del departamento boliviano de Chuquisaca. Un departamento situado en los valles interandinos donde la cooperación al desarrollo europea se ha propuesto financiar proyectos de desarrollo rural con el Programa de Microproyectos (PMPR) con el objetivo de fomentar la economía del territorio y luchar contra la pobreza.Mientras que en Bolivia hay una recuperación económica general, se observan problemas en la incidencia de la recuperación de la estructura productiva primaria de Chuquisaca. El estudio del modelo de desarrollo de la microregión de Tomina permite decir que los factores endógenos explican los problemas del desarrollo de la realidad del departamento y que, sin negar la existencia de factores exógenos, son los primeros los que contribuyen de manera determinante en la explicación de los límites de la recuperación económica.
