Abstract

The recall of agri-food products represents a major food safety, management and public health risk whose impact can be considerable both on the health of consumers and on the development of businesses. This study aims to evaluate the decision analysis process applied in the recall of agri-food products in Canada and within the European Union. It is also a question of analyzing the management of the recall of agri-food products in Algeria through a survey carried out among a few economic operators. This new approach to the effective management of the recall of agri-food products constitutes a decision support tool to the extent that decision analysis is integrated into the management of the company with a strategy for controlling the points of critical controls throughout the food chain.
