Abstract

The concept of the physical social economy acts as a moderate counterweight to the unrestrained adventures of speculative financial manipulations. On a global scale, such speculation can lead not only to an excessive imbalance of the world economy, but also to the destruction of entire industries of real production. The school of physical social economy orients economic practice not on profit maximization through trade or redistribution of economic goods, not on artificial stimulation of production, but on the search for new ways of mastering nature's resources, in particular its energy, in order to identify new large-scale sources for the economic wealth of nations and humanity as a whole. A careful study of the parameters of the real economy and the identification of its unused reserves creates a reliable basis for planning the development of the world economy on the basis of competition for more moderate and more rational production.
