Abstract

La DATAR s'est fixée trois objectifs en réalisant ce "guide pour les actions et études de prospective territoriale" : - éveiller l'attention de responsables locaux (institutionnels, publics et privés) sur l'intérêt des études prospectives, non seulement pour éclairer les futurs possibles ou souhaitables des territoires dont ils ont la charge, mais aussi pour identifier les enjeux et stratégies de développement possible et ainsi, mobiliser les partenaires concernés ; - informer les décideurs et cadres locaux sur les approches et les méthodes de prospective qui ont fait leur preuve pour animer les débats locaux sans figer les choix ou reproduire des clivages simplistes ; - aider ces acteurs à engager leurs travaux de prospective, même avec de modestes moyens.
