Abstract

Dans le cadre de la réalisation de l'ouvrage «Les bus et leurs points d'arrêt accessibles à tous,guide méthodologique », des visites techniques de réseaux de transport public urbains ont étéréalisées durant le printemps 2000 dans le but de capitaliser les expériences intéressantes dans ledomaine de l'accessibilité des bus . Cette connaissance nous a permis de décrire dans ce guide, lesrecommandations techniques et organisationnelles pour réussir une mise en accessibilité despersonnes à mobilité réduite.Ces visites ont fait l'objet de comptes rendus que nous avons jugés utiles de rassembler dans ce« rapport d'étude » . Les exploitants de réseaux de transports, les autorités organisatrices, lesservices techniques des villes y trouveront des informations détaillées sur la conception des pointsd'arrêt et le fonctionnement de lignes de bus accessibles.Les réseaux de transport urbains décrits sont ceux des agglomérations de Chambéry, Douai,Grenoble, Lyon, Mâcon, Meaux, Paris, Strasbourg et Valence . Il a aussi été ajouté quelquesdescriptions de services de transports spécialisés.
