Abstract

Cette étude exploratoire cherche à cerner les enjeux et difficultés spécifiques du stationnement résidentiel dans le patrimoine locatif social.Outre de nombreuses investigations propres à ce questionnement, elle mobilise également la connaissance actuelle des mécanismes du stationnement résidentiel dans un contexte plus général.Elle analyse alors les discours et pratiques des bailleurs sociaux, en questionnant leurs modes de gestion, leur organisation, leur appréhension de la demande de stationnement.Elle examine également les éléments qui entrent en jeu dans la formation des choix des locataires,en particulier les contraintes économiques, au sein d'un « marché local » du stationnement.Enfin, elle propose quelques pistes de réflexion pour guider l'action publique, dans un domaine qui concerne tant la gestion des espaces publics que les politiques de déplacements.
