Abstract

TF1 est le premier groupe privé de télévision gratuite en France. Il se définit comme « un groupe de communication intégré dont la vocation est d'informer et de divertir » (doc TF1). La puissance du groupe est, néanmoins, à relativiser. TF1 doit faire face à une masse considérable de bouleversements d'usage, de technologie mais aussi démographiques et économiques. Certains bouleversements sont directement dus au numérique. Se pose alors une question : la transformation numérique de TF1 va- t-elle assez loin, est-elle assez audacieuse et agile ? Corollaires à cette interrogation, les moyens financiers dont dispose la chaîne, ses alliances avec de nouveaux entrants, sa surface internationale sont autant de questions qui se posent de manière accrue.
