Abstract

Compte tenu de la croissance à long terme des revenus non agricoles des ménages d'agriculteurs à titre principal, l'enquête sur les revenus fiscaux de l'année 1984 est utilisée, en tenant compte de ses insuffisances, pour déterminer dans quelle mesure les revenus d'activité non agricole, ceux de la propriété et les revenus de pensions sont fréquents et/ou importants, à cette date et dans cette population, pour caractériser aussi les unités bénéficiaires. Que l'on raisonne en termes de ménage-logement ou de foyer fiscal principal, très majoritaires sont en 1984 les ménages agricoles ayant un revenu de source non agricole, compte tenu en particulier d'une large diffusion des revenus de la propriété. Mais par ménage bénéficiaire les petits revenus prédominent, ce qui ne semble pas résulter seulement d'un effet de minoration fiscale. Les montants moyens selon la taille économique des exploitations suivent une courbe de forme proche du U. D'autre part, ils apparaissent souvent plus importants dans les régions où les revenus agricoles sont eux-mêmes en moyenne plus élevés.
