Abstract

Cet article met en perspective la dynamique par laquelle ont émergé de nouvelles attentes vis- à-vis de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche en France en ce début de XXIième siècle et tente d'identifier les pratiques de gouvernance qui en résulte tant au niveau des pouvoirs publics que des établissements eux-mêmes. Ainsi, sous le double effet de la globalisation et d'un impératif de compétitivité, le système d'enseignement supérieur connaît une évolution de sa gouvernance caractérisé à la fois par une forte dynamique d'autonomisation et par un regain d'intensité et de formalisme des processus d'évaluation. La gouvernance des établissements quant à elle tend à s'ouvrir pour prendre en compte la multiplicité des parties prenantes.
