Abstract

Le conflit armé en RCA est maintenu vivant et risque de durer longtemps si on y prend garde grâce à l'exploitation des ressources naturelles abondantes dont dispose ce pays notamment le bois, le diamant et le pétrole. Cette corrélation entre le conflit armé et l'exploitation des ressources naturelles est attisée en RCA surtout parce que l'État est en faillite d'une part et d'autre part, à cause des jeux d'influence des puissances régionales qui, tout en cherchant à protéger certaines populations, exploitent aussi ces ressources naturelles. Pour mettre fin à ce conflit armé, il va falloir couper l'accès aux ressources naturelles à tous ces mouvements armés qui y opèrent en imposant une traçabilité de toutes les ressources venant du pays et des pays voisins, exiger des États de la sous-région de s'engager franchement en faveur de la stabilité politique de ce pays , mais surtout reconstruire un État de droit, seul facteur qui est en capacité de pouvoir exorciser durablement la violence politique et armée .
