Abstract

This article is based on an investigation about 65 Tunisian bankers' comportments for Small-Business credit attribution or rationing. Entrepreneurial literature suggests that subjective aspects (psychology of the entrepreneur; motivation; personal capabilities) of the application form for obtaining a banking credit are taken into consideration as classical objective elements (budget; market studies...). Effectively, subjective aspects are considered as a good predictor for entrepreneurial success. Nevertheless the results of this article study are more contrasted than literature suggests. There exist a coexistence of various banking attitudes and only parts of the bankers do take care of entrepreneurs' personal capabilities.
