Abstract

L'objectif de cette étude est d'identifier qui soutient l'actuel système de protection sociale en Europe et qui pourrait bénéficier de son recul. L'intuition derrière cette recherche est qu'il existe un lien direct entre la position économique des individus et leurs préférences en matière de politique sociale. La première partie de l'analyse cherche à identifier les facteurs socio-économiques influençant la demande individuelle de redistribution. La seconde partie de l'analyse tente de décomposer la demande politique sur plusieurs dimensions et de déterminer le positionnement des groupes socio-économiques autour des thèmes structurant l'espace politique.
