Abstract

Cette Etude, réalisée en partenariat avec le Cabinet Mazars & Guérard, est la synthèse des travaux d'un Groupe de travail dédié à ce thème. Elle comprend trois parties : - La première partie s'efforce de donner une définition du capital immatériel et d'identifier les composantes principales de celui-ci: " le capital humain " d'une part, c'est à dire la qualité des hommes, la transformation de leurs compétences en savoir-faire et le " capital structurel " d'autre part ; ( il englobe : les relations avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les banques ; l'organisation interne de l'entreprise et la capacité d'innovation, mise en place par " le réseau. " des salariés). - La seconde partie se penche sur la façon dont le capital immatériel est géré dans les entreprises, pour aboutir à la création de valeur et cela, à travers l'expérience de firmes appartenant à des secteurs différents, tels que le luxe ( HERMES) , l'industrie pharmaceutique ( SANOFI-SYNTHELABO, PARKE DAVIS), ou les industries de haute technologie ( EADS, THALES). - La dernière partie est axée sur la communication financière relative au capital immatériel : comment les entreprises informent leurs actionnaires ou les analystes sur les progrès accomplis en matière de gestion du capital immatériel. De nombreux exemples viennent illustrer ces propos.
