Abstract

Ce livre s'inscrit dans une liste d'ouvrages qui sont le résultat des recherches multidisciplinaires de l'Université de technologie et de sciences appliquées libano-française. L'objectif ici est de préciser et de confronter des réflexions et des expériences. Le mot « technologie » est trop souvent employé sans précaution, de manière banale. Les auteurs proposent d'approfondir son sens, selon diverses optiques, parfois étonnantes, qui traduisent la dimension « culturelle » de ce terme. Chacun d'entre eux en parle selon son travail théorique et l'expérience vécue qui est la sienne. Il s'agit donc de réfl échir de manière historique, pédagogique, monétaire et philosophique sur la signification de la science et de la technologie appliquées au réel, et d'examiner ce qui peut en advenir dans un monde où le virtuel conquiert notre existence.
