Abstract

Dans la littérature sur la gouvernance d'entreprise, deux principes s'opposent : celui énoncé par l'économiste Milton Friedman en 1970, dans un célèbre article intitulé The social responsability of business is to increase its profits (« La responsabilité sociale des entreprises est d'accroître leurs profits »), à celui proposé près de 40 ans plus tard par les universitaires Edward Freeman, Kristen Martin, et Bidhan Parmar dans leur article Stakeholder capitalism (« Le capitalisme des parties prenantes »).
