Abstract

La métropole vivable ? De nombreux politiques, chercheurs, militants - aveugles devant le gigantisme des villes, la densité urbaine, la dilapidation des ressources, la bétonisation et l'artificialisation des sols, etc. - y croient encore, se désole Guillaume Faburel. Pour ce dernier, la réalité du monde urbain est loin d'être ce monde idéal, sans impacts dramatiques, du vivre ensemble et de ses valeurs de diversité, de sociabilité ou encore d'hospitalité. La réalité urbaine est plutôt celle d'une indésirabilité croissante des grandes densités, loin des revendications d'> pas toujours bien inspirées. Décro\ⁱtre et désurbaniser constitueraient la seule voie digne. À condition d'une petite démystification
