Penser La Mondialisation Avec A. Mbembe

Abstract

Entre les apôtres d'une mondialisation sans limite et les défenseurs du repli identitaire, les pensées subtiles se font rares de nos jours. Cette situation est compliquée par les débats violents sur le courant décolonial, opposant parfois une pensée du "Sud" agressivement antioccidentale et une défense de l'héritage d'une raison européocentrée. C'est ce qui fait le prix de la pensée d'A. Mbembe (AM dans la suite du texte), philosophe camerounais de renommée internationale 1 , combinant une vision de la décolonisation nécessaire de nos esprits avec un appel à un nouvel universalisme non hégémonique. Pour des chercheurs en management, cette position peut aider à réfléchir à une mondialisation débarrassée de ses mythes libéraux tout en évitant toute tentation de fermeture. L'intérêt porté à AM pour faire résonner des thèmes d'économie-gestion-management est nouveau 2. Ce regard est d'autant plus nécessaire que l'Afrique est le théâtre d'une éclosion de philosophies intéressantes qui n'ont pas encore trouvé en France un important écho 3 mais qui font l'objet d'enseignements dans nombre d'universités états-uniennes et africaines 4 .
