Covid-19 et BITD : le rôle contracyclique joué par les activités militaires dans la crise économique

Abstract

Depuis mars 2020, la crise sanitaire liée au coronavirus a des répercussions économiques majeures ; le PIB a chuté de 8 % en 2020. Ce contexte impacte les entreprises de la BITD . La baisse de leurs plans de charge a surtout concerné leur activité sur les marchés civils, notamment dans l'aéronautique. Sur les marchés militaires, la situation est différente car la demande s'est maintenue. Ces constats s'appuient d'une part sur l'analyse des intentions en matière de créations/suppressions des emplois dans les entreprises concernées et, d'autre part, sur l'analyse de l'évolution de leurs résultats financiers. Ils s'expliquent par l'intervention de l'État dès juin 2020 avec « le plan aéronautique » spécifiquement destinée à soutenir la filière aéronautique, civile et militaire, et à accélérer la transition vers une aviation civile décarbonée.
