Abstract

Dans le secteur médico-social, le projet personnalisé est un outil de gestion pensé par les pouvoirs publics pour améliorer les pratiques d'accompagnement des usagers. L'objectif de cet article est d'étudier comment des acteurs aux logiques professionnelles propres et des parties prenantes aux intérêts multiples, interagissant dans le contexte d'organisations complexes, s'approprient cet outil et, ce faisant, impactent les pratiques d'accompagnement. Entretiens et observations dans un établissement médico-social suggèrent que l'appropriation de l'outil est ambivalente et favorise, exacerbe ou inhibe des dynamiques d'usage plus ou moins favorables au changement. En outre, la coexistence de tensions entre différents registres d'appropriation complexifie le changement organisationnel et peut expliquer le décalage entre prescriptions et mise en œuvre concrète dans les établissements médico-sociaux.
