Abstract

[Extrait] Les chapitres de cet ouvrage portent fortement sur les dimensions institutionnelles, sociales, économiques et physiques de la ville ... […] Les travaux présentés dans cet ouvrage sont autant de pistes pour alimenter la réflexion, mais d'autres existent et il est important de croiser les différentes approches. L'évolution des façons de produire, de vivre et d'ouvrir la ville constitue un champ de recherche divers et complexe, mais essentiel et d'actualité, qui se caractérise par l'interaction permanente entre la recherche et l'action. Par son dynamisme, la métropole lyonnaise est un terrain intéressant et pertinent pour aborder ce champ. Cela offre de belles perspectives de recherche pour les universitaires impliqués dans le pôle de spécialité Villes et Mobilités de l'Université Lumière Lyon 2, et au-delà.
