La monnaie de compte et son intégration sociale : l’enjeu du temps

Abstract

Une monnaie de compte ne peut être considérée comme telle que si les acteurs l'intègrent dans leurs pratiques quotidiennes d'évaluation, de négociation, de libellé de prix et de dettes, de comptabilité. Or cet acte présent du compte est l'aboutissement d'une synthèse de jeux sur le temps : jeu du passé par la mémoire qui engendre la confiance sur l'avenir, jeu sur l'avenir par les anticipations et le consensus. L'enjeu de l'acte présent du compte est qu'il peut, seul, affirmer le caractère monétaire d'une unité de compte.
