Nouveau regard sur la liminalité : le cas des transplantés

Abstract

L'objectif de cette recherche est double. D'une part, elle vise à comprendre les spécificités du vécu des transplantés. D'autre part, elle se propose d'interroger la littérature sur la liminalité et d'en renouveler la conceptualisation. Dix-neuf transplantés ont été interrogés en profondeur. Les résultats montrent que la lecture des vécus autour de la liminalité gagne à être faite aux niveaux micro-individuel et micro-social. Sur le plan micro-individuel, la liminalité est entretenue par le vécu corporel et le concept de soi, alors qu'au niveau micro-social, une oscillation se fait entre une assignation identitaire subie à certains moments et son instrumentalisation par les greffés à d'autres. Des recommandations vis-à-vis des organismes et des professionnels de la santé sont proposées pour améliorer le vécu des transplantés.
