Abstract

Ce cas présente la situation du secteur des équipementiers automobile dans le monde et focalise son attention sur le cas de Valeo, leader français du secteur. Le cas revient dans une première partie sur les principales caractéristiques et règles de fonctionnement du secteur et aborde les tendances lourdes qui traversent cette industrie et son écosystème depuis 15 ans, notamment la crise COVID. Dans une seconde partie, le cas revient sur la situation spécifique de Valeo, son histoire récente Le cas présente également les principaux éléments comptables et financiers de Valeo de 2009 à 2020, permettant ainsi d'apprécier son niveau de performance et l'évolution de celle-ci.
