Mode de développement et performance de projet : Les partenariats dans le cas du développement de nouveaux produits

Abstract

Cette présentation a pour but d'étudier l'usage de l'alliance verticale et interorganisationnelle dans le domaine du développement de nouveaux produits industriels (DNPI). L'objectif primordial est d'analyser le choix du fabricant entre la formation d'une alliance pour développer un nouveau produit et le développement d'un nouveau produit au sein de l'entreprise. Un autre objectif consiste à examiner le rapport entre le mode choisi de développement et le succès réalisé par le produit nouveau. Les résultats ainsi obtenus permettent alors de mieux comprendre les facteurs décisifs pour le choix du mode de l'alliance, surtout ceux qui contribuent à réduire l'incertitude interorganisationnelle. Les résultats suggèrent aussi que le mode de l'alliance, par rapport au développement de produits par la voie interne, ne conduit pas toujours au plus grand succès pour le développement de nouveaux produits.
