Abstract

Cet article porte sur la situation des femmes ayant des activités de vente. Il analyse leur place dans les emplois de vente, leurs attitudes et comportements et ceux qu'ont à leur égard leurs clients, leurs managers et leurs subordonnés. De cette analyse se dégagent quelques enseignements. Les femmes sont de plus en plus présentes dans les activités commerciales. Une fois tombés les stéréotypes, bien peu de différences associées au genre se font jour, que ce soit au niveau des perceptions, comportements ou résultats. Il reste encore toutefois du chemin à parcourir en matière de parité en ce qui concerne les rémunérations et l'accès aux postes de management.
