Abstract

La compréhension des orientations envers l'achat d'occasion est un enjeu important pour les distributeurs, compte tenu des développements récents mais importants de ce marché. Une analyse en profondeur d'entretiens réalisés avec des individus familiers de ce mode d'achat fait apparaître deux types d'orientations – économiques et expérientielles. Un troisième champ de discours révèle pour certains l'importance du risque perçu et de l'expertise acquise dans cette pratique, variables modératrices de la relation entre orientations et produits/circuits possibles. La mise à jour de ces motivations permet ensuite d'examiner les réponses possibles des distributeurs face à ces nouvelles tendances de consommation.
