Abstract

Les approches contemporaines de la stratégie tendent à entériner l'idée suivant laquelle la planification jouerait un rôle de second plan face au management stratégique aux contours plus souples et aux capacités d'adaptation supérieures. Pourtant l'examen des processus de décision industrielle permet d'identifier une persistance d'outils de gestion attachés au concept de planification. Deux aspects sont alors intéressants à étudier : la dynamique organisationnelle qui est freinée dans son effort d'adaptation et de traitement de la diversité; la difficulté d'actualisation des outils de planification courants.
