Les rituels familiaux comme pratiques de socialisation

Abstract

Pour vivre et survivre une famille fabrique un minimum d'organisation. Les rituels que la famille (père ou mère) met en place, depuis le moment du réveil de l'enfant (ici d'âge scolaire) jusqu'au départ pour l'école, constituent par leur régularité un élément de la prime socialisation observable sur place, car ces pratiques échappent aux outils habituels de collecte de données. Les rituels observés en milieu familial mobilisent trois dimensions communes à toute pratique sociale : l'espace, le temps, le corps. L'article propose une approche fine de ces rituels familiaux de socialisation, au cœur de la mise en scène de la vie quotidienne en famille et de ses codes plus ou moins normés.
