Abstract

Celina Whitaker est cofondatrice, avec Patrick Viveret, du Collectif Richesses, coprésidente du réseau Fair (Forum pour d'Autres Indicateurs de Richesse). Elle a été coordinatrice du Projet SOL pendant sa période expérimentale (2005-2010) et continue à s'investir dans le domaine des Monnaies Complémentaires, notamment au travers des réseaux SOL et MLC. Dans cet entretien elle revient sur son parcours personnel, la création de la monnaie locale SOL et des leçons de cette expérience. Elle traite aussi la question de la nature du rapport des monnaies locales avec la société civile, les collectivités locales et nationales ainsi que le périmètre de ces monnaies. Elle conclut sur les expériences de monnaies locales menées ailleurs dans le monde.
