Abstract

Este capítulo da cuenta del contexto y la incorporación del tema del Ordenamiento territorial para el caso de la Región Metropolitana de Santiago, donde se destaca el desarrollo del Proyecto OTAS. Además, se presenta una proposición de una orgánica institucional en torno a la planificación regional considerando un modelo de los instrumentos de planificación y la interacción con otras organizaciones tanto públicas, privadas como de la población organizada. Finalmente, el capítulo presenta una propuesta de un plan de gestión completo para el Gobierno Regional Metropolitano de Santiago.
