Abstract

La libre circulation des personnes a-t-elle entraîné des pertes d'emploi ou a-t-elle stimulé la croissance économique et l'emploi, en particulier pour la main-d'oeuvre locale? A-t-elle conduit à un nivellement par le bas des salaires ou a-t-elle, en stimulant la croissance, fait progresser les salaires de la main-d'oeuvre indigène? Pour répondre à ces questions, Joies ou douleurs? procède à une évaluation quantitative de l'abolition depuis 2004 d'un bastion de la politique migratoire suisse: la priorité en matière d'emploi accordée aux travailleurs indigènes.
