Abstract

La comparaison d'annonces d'offres d'emploi françaises, britanniques et espagnoles diffusées sur internet met en relief plusieurs spécificités françaises. La sélection des candidats s'appuie davantage qu'ailleurs sur des présupposés liés à leur âge, à leur formation (notamment leur diplôme) ou à la durée de leur expérience, mais aussi sur leur apparence, comme le révèle la nécessité d'envoyer parfois une photographie. De telles pratiques risquent de conduire à une exclusion précoce et massive de candidats sur la base de critères discutables, voire injustes. La comparaison avec l'étranger montre bien que l'on peut procéder autrement. Une qu'une réflexion sur ces questions est plus que nécessaire en France, ne serait-ce que parce que la sélection " à distance " est une source importante de discrimination à l'embauche.
