Abstract

Que dire du texte de Keynes sur l'autosuffisance nationale ? Sans ambiguïté, que le grand esprit y perce à chaque moment. Cependant la question posée ici n'est pas celle du génie de Keynes, mais du crédit qu'il faut aujourd'hui accorder à l'argumentaire qu'il développe sur une question, l'autosuffisance des nations, qui est au coeur de notre actualité. L'interrogation porte donc sur la pertinence de l'analyse en son temps, mais aussi et surtout sur la légitimité de sa transposition, et de celle de ses conclusions décapantes, dans le débat contemporain sur la mondialisation. De ce point de vue, ce texte m'apparaît à la fois actuel et daté. Le contexte politique, mais aussi l'argumentaire, sont largement inactuels. Mais la tonalité politique et la posture intellectuelle nous intéressent plus que jamais. Examinons ces points successivement.
