Abstract

Les professionnels de la politique de la ville, de par leur implication dans l'action publique locale, ont du faire face à un besoin d'informations nouvelles les conduisant à observer différemment afin de révéler "l'invisible". L'inadéquation des statistiques existantes et la nécessité d'avoir une compréhension fine des dynamiques territoriales, les ont donc amenés à s'interroger sur la manière de repérer et de mesurer les richesses territoriales non révélées par la mesure. La démarche ainsi construite s'inscrit dans une perspective de création de nouveaux indicateurs, pour une meilleure connaissance des richesses sur lesquelles s'appuie, et/ou peuvent s'appuyer, la dynamique des territoires et à partir desquelles l'action publique locale peut être pensée. Il s'agit alors de mesurer pour révéler les dynamiques territoriales et ainsi produire de la connaissance au service de l'action publique.
