Abstract

Sous l'angle de l'efficacité comme de l'efficience, le contrôle de gestion s'avère un outil essentiel à la réalisation des objectifs organisationnels et au suivi des actions stratégiques. Étant donné son apport à une saine gestion, une étude exploratoire a été menée auprès de gestionnaires de musées canadiens afin de connaître leurs attitudes face au contrôle et de recenser les systèmes mis en place et les pratiques en usage dans ces entreprises. Malgré une attitude en général plutôt favorable à l'endroit du contrôle, les résultats de cette recherche révèlent un faible déploiement des outils de contrôle de gestion et des lacunes au niveau du contrôle interne.
