Abstract

Les études internationales sur les effets de la superposition montrent un effet systématique d'inflation de la dépense publique induit par la complémentarité des biens publics locaux offerts. En introduisant des différences spatiales dans les comportements de demande de bien public, on montre ici que, dans le cas français, cet effet n'apparaît qu'en Île-de-France, le reste du territoire étant caractérisé par une indépendance des biens publics des villes et des départements.
