Abstract

L'activité pêche d'une PME du nord de la Franche-Comté, VMC, n'apparaît plus viable au début des années 1970. Aujourd'hui, l'entreprise possède une part non négligeable du marché mondial des hameçons fabriqués mécaniquement et est leader sur le marché mondial des hameçons triples. Au cœur du redressement spectaculaire de cette entreprise se trouve l'introduction d'une innovation technologique de procédé, résultat d'une alchimie des compétences présentes dans l'entreprise. Nous proposons une grille d'analyse des compétences liées au processus d'innovation qui permet d'ordonner le discours des acteurs-clés de l'innovation. Ce faisant, elle s'avère fructueuse pour comprendre cette alchimie des compétences et au-delà pour rendre compte de la dialectique innovation/compétences.
