Manières d'entreprendre et façons d'en parler

Abstract

Does globalisation standardize entrepreneurs' behaviours as it is said to standardize consumers' or citizens' behaviours ? Answering this question presupposes the existence of "entrepreneurial cultures" related to national geographical spaces. For example, what about the Tunis area ? A standized definition (as a value of reference) as regards culture shows that the entrepreneurs from that area are actually deeply split according to the various factors they are motivated by. The implementation of a semiotic approach of culture enables to get to know the entrepreneurial culture through the angle of the specificity of the representations vehiculed by the entrepreneurs from a given geographical area. For example, the industrialists from the Tunis area see themselves as "lacking industrial traditions" whose frame of mind belongs to "former trades men".
