Une interprétation de la coopération inter-entreprises en termes de pouvoir informationnel

Abstract

Si le thème des accords de coopération a suscité de nombreux travaux issus de divers champs disciplinaires, il n'existe pas à ce jour de théorie standard de la coopération inter-firmes. Trois grands courants théoriques dominants (théorie des contrats, théorie des resources et théorie des marchés) sont habituellement mobilisés pour justifier la conclusion d'accords. Si l'information est présente dans ces diverses approches, elle n'est pas envisagée comme domaine autonome d'analyse, et son rôle dans la coopération, notamment via le pouvoir lié à sa possession, n'est pas explicitement analysé. Cet article met en évidence que le "pouvoir informationnel" s'exerce dans tous les types d'accords répertoriés et approfondit la compréhension des pratiques de la coopération en introduisant dans l'analyse le rôle du pouvoir. Ce type de pouvoir peut en conséquence se positionner comme facteur explicatif complémentaire des approches théoriques habituellement avancées.
