Abstract

Le développement des marchés de capitaux et les récents scandales financiers ont mis les métiers de la finance sur le devant de la scène. Les agences de notation en font partie. Leur activité principale consiste à évaluer la solvabilité des émetteurs de titres de dette. Elles participent donc à l'amélioration de l'information sur les marchés.Gunther Capelle-Blancard et Jézabel Couppey-Soubeyran présentent ici l'activité des agences de notation avant de s'interroger sur leur rôle dans le fonctionnement du système financier.
