A política econômica do Governo Lula: reformismo e submissão ao capital financeiro

Abstract

O objetivo desse artigo é o de analisar a política econômica posta em prática peloPresidente Lula, no Brasil, desde 2003, dando ênfase às mudanças programáticas do Partidodos Trabalhadores (PT). Sugere-se que a continuidade da política econômica neoliberal noBrasil, num governo reformista considerado de centro-esquerda, representa, por um lado, umatendência histórica já verificada em outros países e, mais importante, reafirma um conjunto decompromissos políticos e econômicos assumidos, principalmente, com o capital financeiro.
