Abstract

L'analyse de la relation croissance-chômage et de ses répercussions dans l'espace économique soulève deux types d'interrogations complémentaires. La première, est relative aux modifications qualitatives des conditions de la croissance économique et la nature des combinaisons d'emplois qui en découlent. La seconde, concerne la spécificité des territoires économiques et les enjeux révélés par des dynamiques locales non uniformes.Il s'agit là d'interrogations qui n'ont cessées d'alimenter le débat économique mais avec une plus forte intensité depuis l'avènement de la crise économique. En effet, l'apparition d'un chômage massif et durable dans les pays industrialisés, les reformulations des trajectoires d'insertion professionnelle et l'inadéquation apparente de la relation formation-emploi ; sont la marque d'un marché du travail structurellement modifié animé par des courants majeurs de flexibilité, précarité et de segmentation.
