Abstract

L'eau est perçue de moins en moins comme « naturelle » et de plus en plus comme indissociable des réseaux techniques et politiques. Ces réseaux qui la font circuler dans l'espace et qui assurent sa distribution lui confèrent un statut de question sociale majeure. Eaux et Réseaux regroupe, en une vingtaine d'articles de chercheurs et de praticiens venus d'horizons les plus divers, des expériences de terrain assorties des grilles d'analyse qui permettent de les évaluer et de les comparer. L'ouvrage offre ainsi un espace de recherche pluridisciplinaire constitué de multiples études régionales et urbaines où la France et le « modèle français » occupent naturellement une place à part, tandis que les nations latino-américaines –Argentine en tête– sont très largement représentées. Dans ce panorama international, les réseaux sont le meilleur fil conducteur pour explorer le nouveau « continent de l'eau ».
