Abstract

L'économie est une science de l'interdépendance généralisée ce qui la rend complexe et peu précise. Mais ce n'est pas là, selon nous, le critère principal qui, avec les autres sciences sociales, l'éloigne des sciences de la nature. La météorologie, comme nombre d'autres sciences de l'écosystème, est elle aussi une science de l'interdépendance généralisée et reste peu précise, elle n'en demeure pas moins une sciences de la nature et ses " prévisions " sont perfectibles avec l'accroissement des données et la complexification des modèles. L'économie est par contre une science de l'interaction généralisée. À ce titre tout modèle économique prétenduement " scientifique " véhicule de l'information qui inter-agit sur le comportement des acteurs observé eux-même, de sorte que la prévision du modèle peut être soit auto-réalisatrice soit auto-réfutante. Dans cette configuration le critère scientifique de la " prévision réalisée " ne peut être d'un quelconque secours pour tester la scientificité du modèle.
