Abstract

Proponho aqui un modelo teorico e uma grade de analise das relaçoes entre o comercio dito "de rua" e as mutaçoes das cidades contemporaneas na esfera da globalizaçao, mutaçoes que sintetizarei atraves do termo "metropolizaçao". O modelo proposto chega a previsao de que as condiçoes da metropolizaçao favorecem a ampliaçao do comercio da rua, muito embora as politicas urbanas que tocam esses fenomenos estejam estruturalmente inadaptadas para essa evoluçao.
